Fattori che portano all'arco dei segmenti di diamante

Segmenti diamantati, grazie alla loro bassa generazione di calore, elevata conducibilità termica, e resistenza all'accumulo di trucioli, può mantenere una finitura superficiale di alta qualità. Tuttavia, oltre l'uso prolungato, we often observe the phenomenon of arcing in diamond segments. What are the main causes of this arcing?

Diamond segments are the working components of diamond saw blades, composed of diamond grains and a bonding agent. Diamonds, as superhard materials, provide cutting edges, while the bonding agent secures the diamonds, typically made from metal powders or alloys known as formulations. Depending on the application, formulations and diamonds vary. The primary reasons for arcing in diamond segments are the lateral oscillation of the saw blade and the abrasion from rock powder movement on both sides. Lateral oscillation is influenced by the following factors:

1. Fundamental misalignment: Uneven internal stress in the matrix causes deformation and misalignment.

2. Matrix stiffness: Insufficient stiffness causes the blade to bend due to radial forces during cutting, leading to lateral forces.

3. Asymmetrical segment welding: Unequal welding on both sides of the segment causes the blade to misalign under lateral forces.

4. Equipment precision and low rigidity.

5. Blade rotation speed: Higher speeds increase oscillation.

6. Stone properties: Stones with high hardness and abrasiveness cause greater oscillation.

7. The placement of the rough material: The rough material will vibrate greatly when the stability is low.

Some of these factors can be mitigated, while others cannot be avoided, resulting in uneven wear and tear. Abrasion from rock powder on both sides cannot be eliminated, causing wear on both edges.
